Weekly Trash Service
Single-family homes receive weekly, unlimited trash collection. Use approved containers and follow the preparation rules below.
Cart and Container Options
Residents may choose between city‑approved rental carts from Republic Services or their own compatible personal containers for curbside trash collection. Rental carts are recommended because the hauler will replace them if they become damaged, ensuring reliable service and fewer disruptions. Personal containers are allowed as long as they meet curbside collection standards; however, they are the resident’s responsibility and will not be replaced if they break.

- Bag all trash securely to prevent litter and animal access.
- No container may exceed 50 pounds.
- Place carts at the curb by 6:00 a.m. on your collection day.
