BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – The Battle Creek Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred late Tuesday night in the 400 block of NE Capital Avenue.
At approximately 11 p.m. on Oct. 14, officers responded to a report of an armed robbery. The victim reported that an undetermined amount of cash was taken by the suspect, who fled the scene on foot before officers arrived.
As police canvassed the area, they located a possible suspect matching the description provided. A 37-year-old man was arrested on unrelated charges. The BCPD detective bureau continues to investigate the robbery.
