Cereal City Hoopsters
The Cereal City Hoopsters program is a summer instructional program with high school aged basketball leagues for all youth in the Battle Creek area at Claude Evans Park. The program includes basic instruction in basketball. Experienced coaches teach fundamentals, and specific skills utilizing a variety of drills and game play throughout an eight week program. Youth Basketball (Grades 3rd-6th)
The sport of basketball is designed to help develop interest for the youngsters. Join our basketball program partnered with Spartan Elite to maintain physical activity and fun this sport brings.
Start Smart Basketball (Ages 3-6)
Start Smart Basketball prepares your child for organized basketball in a fun, safe environment. It allows children to work one-on-one with a parent and learn a variety of basketball skills including: passing, dribbling, ball handling, shooting, catching, running, and agility. Participants, with their parents, will engage in several stations to teach the fundamentals of basketball. A parent/guardian is required to participate at each class.
Please note: Youth Sports opportunities vary throughout the year.
All Youth Sports coaches must complete a background check.
