Battle Creek Parks and Recreation offers three unique volleyball experiences. Our Mini Spikers program ages 3-5 preps participants for our youth volleyball program. Mini Spikers is designed to teach participants the fundamentals of volleyball through skills and drills. Mini Spikers is a parent / child participation course, a parent / guardian is required to participate at each session.
Youth Volleyball (Ages 6-14) Our Youth Volleyball program is designed for youth ages 6-14 and is taught by the coaching staff of St. Philip High School along with current and former players. Instruction is focused on skill development and a general understanding of the game. The program includes game play in a competitive setting.

Registration fee is $70 per participant

Mini Spikers Volleyball Mini Spikers Volleyball (Ages 5-6) prepares your child for our youth volleyball program. Summer Volleyball Camp (Grades 2nd - 12th) Battle Creek Parks and Recreation also offers a volleyball camp each year in July for a week featuring coach Vicki Groat, a 20-year coaching veteran with eight state volleyball championships under her belt. This advance camp offers specific skill development and game experience. The goal of this camp is to develop individual skills: serving, setting, attacking and defense. Participants will learn the importance of teamwork through drills and games.
